Cedar Terrace is a rooftop garden and entertainment terrace atop a residential building in Islamabad's F-10 sector. Raised timber-deck zones, a cedar pergola, integrated planters and city-view seating nooks turn an underused concrete roof into the home's most-used outdoor room.
The existing roof structure had a limited live-load capacity. Every element of the landscape was specified with structural weight in mind — lightweight growing media, galvanised steel planter frames and engineered timber decking on pedestal feet that spread loads across the slab.
