Marble & Oak is a compact but meticulously resolved apartment interior in Islamabad's E-7 sector. The design philosophy was rigorous editing — every surface, fixture and piece of furniture had to earn its place, resulting in a space that feels expansive despite a modest footprint.
The apartment's original kitchen and dining areas were separated by a solid wall that blocked borrowed light from the living room windows. A steel-framed glazed partition replaced the wall, allowing light to penetrate while maintaining acoustic privacy for the kitchen.
